Rifle likes itReview by Foxfury / (Posted on 8/23/2020)This is my choice elk load. Set up to shoot out to 500 yards (about the recommended range limit for the load on elk sized game) but so far only needed to shoot about 80 yards. The bull only went about 35 yards. A quartering to shot is all he gave me. Bullet performance was phenomenal. Full mushroom and recovered the bullet just under the skin in his groin. Traveled through almost 5.5’ of critter. Should have been a pass through on a good broadside shot.
This load has shot at 1/2 MOA from my rifle out past 400 yards without a problem. At 1-200 yards all rounds touch when I do my part. Only downside to this load is it can be hard to find. I suspect they only make 1-2 runs of it a year. May have to order it under custom unless they increase production. (Hint hint Nosler).
Fantastic ammo!Review by Jeff / (Posted on 11/17/2019)Took the 300 Win Mag and 180 Accubonds on a recent pronghorn/mule deer hunt in Wyoming. Both animals were between 150 and 200 yds, both 1 shot kills, both fell less than 30 yds from the shot so I couldn't ask for any better bullet performance. Accuracy is amazing, 1/2" or better at 100 yds and on a good day I can hold 4" or better at 600. The 180 AB's will be going with me on all my hunts. Great product.
