Large Heavy feral Hogs, no problem. DOA. Coyotes, Javelina, Whitetail, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Desert Bighorn Sheep. 50 yards to 573 yards. No problemReview by Use nothing else / (Posted on 8/28/2020)In over 20 years of using the .257 AccuBond in 2 model 700's only 4 non-pass threw shots. 2 were head on through a Whitetail sternum and ending up under the hide next to the left ham. 79 and 86 gain retention. 2 were Extra large feral hog broadside head shots. (Didn't recover bullets). 90% dropped on the spot. Those That didn't drop went less than 30 yards. Desert Sheep at 200 yards in blustery over 30 mph crosswind that I misjudged putting bullet near front of entry shoulder but out through center of off side shoulder. Dropped so fast I didn't see him disappear in the grass. Had to count the remaining 9 rams once they settled down to determine one was missing.
110 AccubondReview by Gheintz / (Posted on 11/26/2019)This is a good bullet, very accurate. How ever I think nosler would have better sales with a 120 grain AccuBond long range bullet. It would be the first 25 cal. bullet with near .500 bc and wouldn't defeat the purpose of large case like the 25-06 and the .257WBY Mag.
