  • Still Good but!
Review by Moosetookit / (Posted on 11/29/2019)
I still really like this ammo but 2450 FPS sout of my 18” barrel Wilson Combat Recon Tactical, not the 2700 FPS as advertised. Was hitting 5” gongs at 400 yards on a bipod in a bench style position with a 1.5 to 8 power Vortex Razor Lite hunter. My son shot a 40 plus pound coyote at less than 75 yards. DRT. I shot a nice 125 pound doe at 112 yards measured with a range finder. Double lung shot, ever so slight quartering away. My preferred shot. Doe went over 300 yards before dying. Did not hit a rib on the way in. Bullet exited. Leaving a decent exit hole. Was just surprised how far the doe went before expiring. Bullet preformed well. Not sure I’m happy with the cartridge performance but not knocking the bullet. .308/30-06 class cartridges put a deer down much faster in my opion. Still one of my favorite go to cartridges for general large varmints/ranch/truck gun. Very accurate. If I do my part it is very easy to have less than 1” 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Several groups at 200 yards were under 1.5”. Prices and shipping are awesome. Wait till they are 12.99 a box and free shipping and order 10 box’s. You will be happy with them. Have never had a function problem.

This ammo clocks 2675fps out of my 3R 1:10 ARP 16” barrel and will do 1 MOA consistently at the range.
