Fantastic performanceReview by MTELKHUNTER / (Posted on 12/4/2019)I have always shot Nosler bullets in my .270 Winchester, so I was very excited to use the 150 grain Accubond LR. After just three different handload combinations, I was able to achieve just over 1/2 MOA accuracy. I shot a nice mature mule deer at 198 yards. The deer was quartering away and after the shot, the buck took a couple of steps, stopped and went end over end down the snowy mountain. An autopsy revealed that the bullet took out the liver and lungs and penetrated directly through the off side shoulder. I retrieved the bullet against the skin while skinning the buck. I weighed the bullet which was an incredibly perfect mushroom at 112 grains, but I lost a large piece of the lead mushroom which I would guess at about 15-20 grains. Great weight retention and incredible real world performance. I would highly recommend the Accubond LR.
Excellent bulletsReview by Timgunner / (Posted on 11/26/2018)I've been shooting these since they were first released and I cannot say enough good things about these bullets. I load for my brother's 270 and with just a picked load from the book, his rife, with a factory barrel, shoots sub 3/4 moa. I watched him drop two deer the first time he hunted with the loads I made for him. One shot was just 70 yards the other was over 300 and both deer dropped within 30 yards. I recently built myself a custom 270 and have only used these bullets, so far this year it has takes a doe at 175, 250 and a buck at 475 yards, all three deer dropped immediately! I am very pleased with the performance of these bullets so much so that I will not shoot anything else in my 270s!
