PERFECTReview by Jbloader / (Posted on 4/20/2018)Needed a hunting round for my 6.5x55 Swede Tikka T3 Forest. Playing around with loads to test accuracy I achieved .3" 5 round groups at 100 yrds with SMK's (Got them in a going out of business sale) if I do my part. For hunting I always use Nosler bullets and decided to go lead free. The most accurate load I made was with IMR 4350 per published Nosler Load data (THANK YOU, NOSLER!) impacted 2" higher than the 142 SMK's and held a .375" 5 round group at 100 yards.
So, if you're following, I used a Nosler hunting bullet with Nosler load data to achieve accuracy results comparable to one of their competitor's competition bullets.
A proven hunting round as accurate as a competition bullet?
Other bullet manufacturer's exist for the sole purpose of proving Nosler's superiority.
