AccuBond® 35 Caliber (Whelen) 225 Grain Bullet (50ct)

Through an exclusive bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond® couples Nosler's proven copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep and retains its weight, without causing extensive barrel fouling. The unique white polymer tip resists deforming and initiates expansion on impact. Nosler's Solid Base® at the rear of the bullet acts as a platform for large diameter mushrooms.
Minimum Velocity: 1800 fps (549 mps)

  • 35 Whelen Imp wildcats
Review by Ol' Stoney / (Posted on 6/27/2018)
This is the bullet that completes the .35 caliber package.
Accurate. Good ballistic design that retains the energy to handle those less-than-perfect situations that can occur in the elk woods as soon as your rifle goes off. Tough enough to hold together and penetrate those quartering shots. Great elk bullet - elk're tough - but so are Accubonds. No such thing as "Over-kill" - wonderful gopher bullet!
  • Great Bullet, but hard to find
Review by mimskev / (Posted on 10/19/2017)
I used the Nosler 225 gr Accubond on my first elk hunt this fall (2017) in my 35 Whelen and it was devastating! Shot was made offhand at close range (40 yards). Cow elk was quartering away from me and the bullet passed completely through but left a huge hole. I believe this bullet performed as advertised, the front half opened up quickly and violently, but the lower section punched right through. My only complaint is the bullet is extremely difficult to find. Just about all reloading sites have it in back order status. Please make more of these bullets Nosler!
