Nosler M48 Heritage Rifle Chambered in 280 Ackley Improved *Ready to Ship*
The Model 48 Heritage combines classic styling with modern engineering and top of the line components, for a rifle that is as beautiful as it is functional. The fancy-grade, oiled walnut stock has been carefully designed for a seamless fit between the shooter and rifle. With a delicate palm-swell, slender forearm, and shadow-line cheek-piece, the Model 48 Heritage just feels right. A handsome, matte-black Cerakote® all-weather finish compliments the dark wood grain, while fully protecting the metal-work from the elements.
The Model 48 Heritage is for the shooter who desires all of the features expected in a contemporary hunting rifle, but with all of the tradition and warmth of a wood-stocked rifle.
With careful attention to the way a rifle should feel in the hands, the Model 48 Heritage is fitted with a fancy-grade, oiled walnut stock featuring 20 line-per-inch, three-panel checkering, and a soft, one-inch recoil pad to help reduce felt recoil. Cartridges are held in an internal magazine with a lightweight aluminum hinged floor-plate for easy unloading. A free-floating stainless steel, match-grade barrel, with glass and pillar-bedded action ensure M.O.A. accuracy at 100 yards with prescribed Nosler Ammunition.

I love it!Review by Claw / (Posted on 9/13/2017)I reload but began shooting Nosler's Accubond boxed ammo. With a Leupold M4 on top, zeroed at 200, dropped three separate white tails at 406 yards, 451 yards and 374 yards. My turn to gun.
Won't be my lastReview by David / (Posted on 4/13/2017)I purchased an M48 Heritage chambered in .280 Ackley last year. When I first received the rifle I was pleased with the fit of the stock to the metal and it seems to be well built. It did seem to be a little on the heavy side but not to the point I was concerned about it. I own several nice rifles in many calibers. Some are high-end production rifles and some are custom builds, but this was the first Nosler rifle I owned. I followed the barrel break-in and was impressed at the accuracy even during cleaning between shots as prescribed. I hunted with the rifle this year and took two nice whitetail bucks at 120 and 130 yards. This is the most stable rifle I have ever had in my hands and that's saying a lot. It quickly became my favorite. I am currently shopping for an M48 Heritage in another caliber. Good Lord willing; it won't be my last either.
