Partition® 338 Caliber 225 Grain Bullet (50ct)
Minimum Velocity: 1800 fps
Maximum Velocity: Unlimited

1. Nosler Engineering
Nosler's special lead-alloy, dual-core provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities.
2. Fully Tapered Copper-Alloy Jacket
Ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities.
3. Nosler's Integral Partition
Supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration.
4. Dual-Core Construction
Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight, and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance.
5. Special Crimp Locks
Adds strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums.

I Love the Partition
Review by John C. / (Posted on 11/23/2015)Last year, in Colorado, I took a bull elk at 529 yards with a 225 grain Partition from a 340 Weatherby, one shot one kill.
Of course I am very pleased with that performance but that's just about the maximum ethical distance for that combination of rifle/bullet/hunter.
And again this year using the same bullet/rifle at a distance of 321 yards.
I love the Partition, I've used it with great success for about 50 years. But, it does not have a ballistic coefficient of .72 !!
