Best accuracy yet
Review by JohnCZ / (Posted on 6/25/2017)After trying a couple of different bullets in my Rem700 LRSS accuracy was acceptable (BARELY). I loaded some Nosler CC 168gr for my wife's 308win over Varget and decided to try some in the 300WinMag. Loading over 73 grains of H4350 (ADI AR2209 in Australia) the next range day saw 3 shot 100m groups regularly at 0.182" to 0.189" (centre to centre). A few flyers called but still included opened up the average to 0.6" with the worst group being 1.3" with a flyer. Wow! I can't believe how well these performed, thank you Nosler CC. -
Economical alternative
Review by Doug / (Posted on 5/23/2017)I use the Custom Comp 168gr., .308 as a substitute for the 168 gr. Ballistic Tip in practice. I can shoot a lot more with virtually the same point of aim and save money. For three years I also shot NRA Service Rifle using the Custom Comp 168 gr. bullet in my M1 Garand. Great bullet.
