Bullet Info

1. Nosler® Ballistic Tip®

Streamlined polymer tip, color-coded by caliber, resists deformation in the magazine, and initiates expansion upon impact.

2. Fully-Tapered Jacket and Special Lead-Alloy Core

Allows controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. The heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing.

3. Heavy Jacketed Base

Acts as a platform for a large-diameter mushroom.

Review by Aaron L. / (Posted on 9/30/2016)
I must say I'm very impressed with the 150 grain ballistic tips that I hand loaded for my Remington 700. I had tried a good dozen or so different load combinations for that rifle, all produced horrible accuracy. However, my rifle and I are both really liking the ballistic tips! Know how every gun - even within the same model - prefers its own ammo? I've tried approximately 15 different types of ammo, all the way up to expensive gold match ammo, and could never get a better group than 2 inches at 100 yards. I'm now getting 1/2 inch groups at 10p yards - from a cheap bipod! Absolutely amazed at these bullets.
