30 Caliber 165 Grain Ballistic Tip® Hunting Bullet (50ct)
Optimal Performance Velocity: 1800-3200 fps
1. Nosler® Ballistic Tip®
Streamlined polymer tip, color-coded by caliber, resists deformation in the magazine, and initiates expansion upon impact.
2. Fully-Tapered Jacket and Special Lead-Alloy Core
Allows controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. The heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing.
3. Heavy Jacketed Base
Acts as a platform for a large-diameter mushroom.
4. Ballistically Engineered Solid Base®
Boat tail configuration combines with the streamlined polymer tip for extreme long-range performance, and for easier loading.
1800fps - 86% WR
2400fps - 74% WR
3050fps - 60% WR

Sudden death for WhitetailsReview by Iamaclimber / (Posted on 6/6/2018)The ballistic tip is an improvement over the solid base that they replaced. I have been using them in my hand loads since Nosler brought them to market. In either my 308’s or 06 Ackley improved most deer never take a step. I used to be a good tracker but the ballistic tips don’t require any tracking. My son doesn’t use anything else for deer in his 308 because we haven’t found anything that works better. Reasonably priced perfect performance.
My go to bullet for whitetail deerReview by Iamaclimber / (Posted on 4/30/2018)I have been using these bullets in 308 Win. and 30-06 Ackley Improved cartridges since they were introduced. These are an improvement over the Nosler solid base bullets that are no longer in production but were the forerunner for this bullet. I tried several bullet types and brands with my 270 Win. before settleing on the Nosler BT. I had a custom 308 Win. built by Kenny Jarrett in 1991 and he provided a hand load that shot .25” three shot groups all day long. These bullets also drop Georgia Whitetail deer in their tracks. I have shot over 30 deer with this bullet and have only lost one due to stand movement as I shot. Several wild hogs have been quickly dispatched with this bullet. You can buy more expensive bullets but I don’t think you can find a more accurate hunting bullet. P.S. My son has had the same results with his 308.
