Quick Overview

7mm 160 Grain Partition (50ct)

Partition® 7mm Caliber 160 Grain Bullet (50ct)

Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance.
Minimum Velocity: 1800 fps
Maximum Velocity: Unlimited

1. Nosler Engineering

Nosler's special lead-alloy, dual-core provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities.

2. Fully Tapered Copper-Alloy Jacket

Ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities.

3. Nosler's Integral Partition

Supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration.

4. Dual-Core Construction

Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight, and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance.

5. Special Crimp Locks

Adds strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums.

  • 160gr Partition in 7mm-08 Remington
Review by ArcherAndy / (Posted on 4/16/2015)
My son and I have each taken multiple elk, both bulls and cows, using the 160 gr Nosler Partition in our 7mm-08 Remington caliber rifles. Inside 400 yards, this combination of light recoil which permits precise bullet placement and the excellent terminal performance of the Partition bullet have simply produced clean kills every time without fail.

I decided to use a Tikka on my 2015 Colorado Elk hunt. Working up a load with the Nosler Partition 160 gr. I found one at 3096 fps that shoots three shots into .304" @ 100 yards.
